The Critical Technical Practice lab (CTP) at M-ITI is a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to developing new genres and domains of technology. With an emphasis on tech for social justice, non-governmental politics, and bottom-up approaches, CTP creates and deploys working sociotechical systems. It was created through the H2020 ERA Chairs project.  The Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute (M-ITI) operates in the interdisciplinary domain of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), encapsulating contributions from the disciplines of computer science, psychology and social sciences, and art and design, with the goal of engaging in important scientific and technological challenges.
